The sector that defines the state's economic identity. Hotels, restaurants, operators, and experiences are fertile ground: visitor personalization, dynamic pricing, operations optimization, automated customer service, seasonal demand management.
Logistics and foreign trade
Mérida is gaining weight as a logistics hub for the southeast with the Tren Maya, the port of Progreso, and proximity to Central America. AI can tackle routing, demand forecasting, customs automation, supply chain visibility, and operational efficiency.
Agroindustry and regional production
The henequen, citrus, beekeeping, hog, and fishing industries have operations where AI generates concrete value: early problem detection, harvest optimization, traceability, yield prediction, efficient resource management.
Government and public services
